Name: Matt Threehouse
Room Number: OHS Guidance Office
Phone Number: 716-375-801512th Grade CounselorI am the school counselor assigned to the 2023-2024 senior class. I hope that everyone is looking forward to a positive and productive school year! The senior year is a busy but exciting school year. For those students planning to enter a college in the fall of 2024, we will look to complete the college admissions process first, followed by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in December. In late fall/early winter we will then switch our focus to completing local scholarship applications. I am available to all seniors for any assistance that may be needed with regard to any of these three steps. Students can stop by my office, message me on TEAMS, or email me.For those interested in the military, I advise students to make contact with their recruiter early in the school year as well as to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) which is used to link members to appropriate careers based on their skill sets. We will offer the ASVAB on November 28, 2023.Those students interested in entering the workforce after high school should prepare a resume and plan for employment. I can link these students up with community resources for assistance and guidance, if interested.Mr. Threehouse
