Welcome to Olean City School District Health ServicesTHE NYS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT has asked schools to not schedule physical exams with their School Medical Director's until early 2021. *We will alert parents when there is an update* In the mean time, this gives parents the opportunity to have their child seen by their own physician and more time to do so! Usually, NYSED asks that the mandated physical be completed within 60 days from the start of school year. The same mandated grade levels & status apply, see below:SCHOOL PHYSICALS - (HEALTH APPRAISALS) Students in grades Pre-K / K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th,9th, 11th, ALL new enterers/returnee's, students participating in sports & students applying fora working cards are required to have a current physical within last 12 months). Physical exams areoffered throughout the school year at no charge. Our Medical Director is Dr. Pamela Salzmann.
