June 18, 2008 - Author Dave Crawley, visited Boardmanville Elementary.  He shared his poetry with students at grade level presentations in the library.  He is the author of two books, Dog Poems and Cat Poems.

March 19, 2007 - Author, Sandra Philipson, and illustrator, Jenny Campbell, visit Boardmanville.  They have worked together on the books, Max's rules and Forever Home.
