2025-2026 Olean CSD Board of Education District Goals
Annually, the Board of Education engages in a thorough discussion and adopts District and Board Goals. These goals are shaped by the District’s Mission and Vision Statements (above), the progress on the previous year's goals, and the requirements set by Federal, State, and local standards. The goals established for 2025-26 serve as the foundation for District and school planning activities.
During the goal-setting process, time is provided for Board members to discuss and refine the District Goals for 2025-26. It is essential to acknowledge that these goals represent the District’s primary focus for the year, even as other objectives and initiatives continue to evolve. Concentrating on four or five key areas ensures clarity and enables the Board and staff to maintain focus throughout the year.
At the August goal-setting session, the Board of Education established the District’s priorities for 2025-26 in collaboration with the Superintendent. While not exhaustive, these goals encapsulate the district’s broad focus for the year. They are aligned with the District’s Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision Statements, build on previous work, and provide a roadmap for the future.
Following the discussion, the Board adopted the goals. Progress on these goals will be reported to the Board in April 2026.
