    12th Grade Counselor
Students are reminded of the importance of high grades and good attendance this school year!  Colleges look at all grades that will appear on your high school transcript to make admission decisions!  Grades will be reviewed every five weeks throughout the school year and direct meetings with students and/or parents arranged as needed to make sure students are ready for graduation in June!
Please encourage your child to attend school daily and to obtain doctors' written excusals when absent from school due to illness.
Seniors should have a finalized plan for post-graduation activities by February 15, 2020.  Whether it be college, the military or the workforce, seniors are encouraged to plan accordingly early to aid in a smooth transition.  See Mr. Threehouse for assistance with your college applications, FAFSA, scholarships, contacting recruiters, job shadowing, etc.
Students are also encouraged to get involved in activities/athletics/clubs at Olean High School.  Becoming more involved in opportunities builds friendships, school pride and also reflects positively on college applications.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me for further information.
