Name: Matt Threehouse
Room Number: OHS Guidance Office
Phone Number: 716-375-801511th Grade Counselor and 8th Grade Counselor (last names beginning with A-G)I am the school counselor assigned to the 2022-2023 junior class as well as a portion of the 8th grade class. I hope that everyone is looking forward to a positive and productive school year! The junior year of high school is arguably the "busiest" year in high school for students. Now is the time to begin preparing for the transition from high school to post-high school plans such as college, military service or entering the workforce. All students are still encouraged to get involved in school activities. We offer many clubs and activities for students at OHS. Research has suggested that students who are willing to get involved in activities tend to enjoy school more throughout the year! See me if you need assistance selecting a club or activity this year.Juniors are encouraged to further explore career options this year and to begin visiting colleges. Those interested in military service should set up a preliminary meeting with a recruiter. Students entering the workforce should plan a visit to the Cattaraugus County One-Stop Career Center. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need help with academics, social-emotional concerns, college/career planning or other issues affecting your success or enjoyment in school!Mr. Threehouse
