    ORCHESTRA Class 2020-21!

    Dear Grade 4, 8-12 Orchestra Musicians and Families,

     

    All string lessons will be provided online. 

     

    #1 Talk to your guidance counselors and register for your grade level orchestra/string lesson. (Grades 4, 8-12)

    #2 You will be invited to Teams (Grade 4 String Lessons 2020-21 or OHS Orchestra 2020-21)

    #3 Students (guardians) will sign-up for online private lessons....probably from a signup app (TBD).

     

    The links below are introductory videos to the violin, viola, cello, and the online lesson.  I usually visit 3rd graders with the HS Orchestra students but the visit was cancelled last year.  I hope these videos help your students understand what they are going to study.   Other than school programs, the string lessons often begin with private lessons (one-on-one). Last spring, my students and I learned that online lessons can sometimes be challenging. Despite that being so, my students persevered and improved greatly throughout the remainder of the school year.  I hope my new 4th-grade students will enjoy learning a new instrument this year. I cut the video into 2 parts.
