Why don't I see my child's grades for an assignment in the eSchoolData Parent Portal?
When an assignment is handed in, time is needed to grade the assignment. Certain assignments such as tests, projects, or long writing assignments such as research papers, essays, etc. take a great deal of time to grade.
Also, some grades can be part of a larger project and a teacher may choose to post grades after the entire project has been graded.
Grades are only shown after teachers have finished entering them in the eSchoolData gradebook and have published them to the portal. It is at the teacher’s discretion when those grades are published to the portal.
A teacher may also be out when assignments are due. Short term substitute teachers do not have access to the gradebook in eSchoolData to enter grades.
Why don't I see my child's attendance in the eSchoolData Parent Portal?
Attendance will usually be available once the teacher has taken attendance. If a teacher is absent, period-by-period attendance will only be taken on paper. Once the teacher has returned, they will enter the period-by-period attendance for the day(s) of their absence(s).
Is the eSchoolData Parent Portal available for all grade levels?
The Parent Portal is available for students who are in the middle school or high school (grades 6 through 12).
