The intent of the course is to prepare students in making positive health‑related decisions throughout their lives.  Areas of concentration are:  anatomy and physiology, nutrition, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, diseases, and pollution.  A major portion of the course is discussion of current issues that serve to develop positive physical, social, mental and emotional well‑being and future decision-making.
