    Important Information about online safety!

    Teachers and staff in the Olean City School District have adopted seniors to show them how much we care about our students and the Class of 2020! We are looking for some helpful hints for gifts for your Senior! If you can provide us with any interests, likes/dislikes, post-college plans, we will forward that to your Senior's Adopter! Please complete the survey at this link to let us know the information about your senior.     If you want the items in your Olean High School Physical Education Locker,
    please contact your PE teacher either via e-mail or through a teams message.

    Hello Everyone!  We are ready to hand out all of your locker materials.  Please arrive at the school according to the following schedule and follow the procedure spelled out below:

    1. Pull into the 4th street parking lot from 4th There will be a person there to take your name.
    2. Proceed out via Reed Street and drive along the BACK of the building and turn UP 3rd
    3. Your bag will be brought out to the front, side door on third street.

    Please DO NOT get out of your cars as we have to take every precaution and maintain social distancing.

    No students are allowed to enter the building.

    Thank you for all following this procedure.  Here are the times for each grade:

    Wednesday, April 15

    • 8th grade: 8:30-11:00
    • 9th grade: 12:00-2:30

    Thursday, April 16

    • 10th grade: 8:30-11:00
    • 11th grade: 12:00-2:30

    Friday, April 17

    • 12th grade: 8:30-11:00

    Hello Students.  Please click on your teacher's web page (here is a link to all the teachers web pages) to see how that teacher is handling instruction while we are out of school.  All students are expected to check in with their teacher either by e-mail or another method listed on their web page.  JCC College Connections classes will continue to be taught by your teacher per JCC directive.   

    To log into O365 remember that your username is the same as the what you use to log onto the
    and your password is the same as what you used to logged onto the laptop with


    Jane Doe with an ID number of 394856298 and graduation year of 2022  would log onto the laptop using JDoe22 and password would be JD6298

    Logging into O365 use  Same password that you used for getting on the laptop.  Here is a video about how to login to Office 365 and use Microsoft teams.  

    Your teachers will be contacting you using your Office 365 Outlook e-mail.  Be sure to check it regularly for updates.

Dignity for All Students Act

  • Olean City School District is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment, free from harassment, bullying, and discrimination for all its students. The District encourages the involvement of staff, students, parents, and community members in the implementation and reinforcement of the Dignity for All Students Act ("DASA").
    If you believe you, or someone else, has been the target of harassment, bullying, cyber-bullying, and/or discrimination, please use this form to report all allegations. 
    School/district personnel witnessing an incident or receiving a report of an incident must complete and submit this written report within two (2) school days.  NOTE: School/district personnel must also orally notify the principal, superintendent or their designee no later than one school day after witnessing or receiving a report of an incident.
    All complaints will be treated in a confidential manner.  Anonymous reports may limit the district's ability to respond to the complaint.  A prompt and through investigation will be conducted for all incident reports.
    If you wish to report an incident or a series of incidents , please complete this form, by clicking on this text, to submit it to the appropriate DASA coordinator.  Otherwise, you may report this to the Dignity Act coordinator in your building as soon as possible so the district can investigate and take the appropriate steps to resolve the incident.  High School: Mr. Andreano or Mr. Martel, OIMS grades 6-7: Mr. Trietley, OIMS grades 4-5: Mr. Whitcher, East View: Mr. Crawford, and Washington West: Ms. Stuff.

District Wide Announcements

  • Sports Booster Endowment Raffle

    The Olean Sports Booster Club has rescheduled their annual Endowment Raffle party that was initially set for
    April 24th at the Olean Pulaski Club.  The new date is May 30th also at the Olean Pulaski Club.  Doors will open at 6:00 pm. Drawing will be at 8:00 pm.

    In the event that May 30th is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the Booster Club will hold the drawing without a party. This will be announced by May 11th and the drawing will take place on FACEBOOK LIVE WATCH prior to the end of the normal school year.

    The final Early Bird drawing will take place April 24th and the winners will be announced.

    If you would like to purchase a ticket for the drawing or have tickets to turn in , you can contact  Jeff Spears, Meme Yanetsko, Char Dwaileebe or any Olean Sports Booster Club member.

  • Meningococcal Vaccine

    The Olean City School District believes that parents should have information on the health of their children.  New York State has required the Meningococcal Vaccine for all students in grades 7 and 12.  Click here to read about the Meningococcal Vaccine.

  • Inspection and/or Request of Records
    District records are available for inspection at no cost to the public. Copies are available at the statutorily permitted duplication fee of $.25 per page by check or money order made payable to the Olean C. Requests for inspection must be in writing and addressed to the Records Access Officer via regular or electronic mail or facsimile. The Records Access Officer will acknowledge receipt and provide the requestor with the District staff person's name, title, and phone number to schedule an appointment at a mutually convenient date and time for inspection. Records or portions thereof which are prohibited from disclosure pursuant to FOIL will be redacted or omitted; the requestor will be notified of the reason(s) for the redaction(s) and of the procedures to appeal to the Commissioner of Education. Inspection of records are by appointment between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
