District-Wide Safety Plan

The District-Wide School Safety Plan (as required by the SAVE Law—Safe Schools Against Violence in Education—Commissioner of Education Regulation 155.17 and Education Law 2801-a) has been established to ensure students' and staff's safety, health, and security. It allows for input from the entire school community. This component of Project SAVE is a comprehensive planning effort that addresses prevention, mitigation, protection, response, and recovery concerning various emergencies that may occur in the school district and its component school buildings.
